Seasonal Holiday Display Installer

Position Description

Preparation and refurbishment (replacement of lights, décor, etc.) of holiday displays – trees, wreaths, garland, seasonal displays - for installation at client sites. As the season progresses the role transitions into an on-site installer who works in crews under the direction of a crew chief to deliver beautiful and memorable holiday displays. Applicants ideally will have a flair for creativity and an eye for design while being able to follow specific instructions both in a group setting or while working independently. This is a full-time seasonal position running from Fall 2024 - January 2025. 

Responsibilities:

• Refurbishment of existing holiday décor (Replacing ornaments, re-decorating trees from ground up, testing/replacing lights, some painting of props, etc.)

• Assisting in warehouse organization/space management

• Installation of holiday displays according to set specifications

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (some of the décor is quite large and heavy and putting together the large trees requires a fair bit of muscle)

• Ability to climb ladders

• A background in arts/crafts, displays, sets/props, events or décor is highly appreciated but not required. We are looking for people with stellar attitudes

• Possession of a valid Drivers License

• Ability to drive 15' - 26' box trucks, not required but highly appreciated

Rate: The rate for this position is $18/hr
